The Health Benefits of Pears


As these crunchy fruits are in season, I’m sure you have had a few pears in the last month. 

Pears are a very versatile fruit that is used in baking and cooking too. 

Did you know that pears can help reduce your Blood pressure? It is said that the regular consumption of pears with its well known health benefits can help to lower blood pressure thus reducing your chances of getting a stroke as well as reduce high cholesterol owing to its high levels of pectin.

Sprinkle a little brown sugar on them and pop them in the oven for a few minutes – healthy tasty snack!
